That is correct without scanning the code eBay do not know the item has been collected, and you may need to wait a minimum of 14 days for the payment to be released.
Send the buyer a message for them to check their eBay messages, their emails even Spam or order details for that 6 digit collection code, and to send you the numbers. Explain this facilitates a faster dispatch for your payout.
It they don't, or can't find the code, then it is a 14 day wait.
