Ebay has not paid me but wants me to refund the buyer anyway, and thinks I didn't send his items.

Do I still get paid under the new *bleep* rules after 14 days if ebay thinks the item is "not sent"?

I sent my items to the G.S.P by stamp, so it seems that the automation thinks it is unsent. But the thing has already been delivered to the USA days ago according to the GSP tracking.

It says "delivered" on the listing but in payments it has an unticked box next to "sent". Presumably because I used a stamp.  I surmise because one another item I sold to the uk by tracking, as soon as the tracking number was put into ebay it had a ticked box next to "sent".

For one of these items the buyer kindly said that if I refunded him, he would pay me the money from the refund as he is a long term customer of mine. (LOL! This is what you have to do now) So guess what happens? Ebay gave him the refund from my own balance!!!!!! it refunded money not from the money he paid which is being held and I can't touch, but from my balance even though I never received the payment to begin with!!! Which means I didn't get the refund because it was just paid back to me in a circle.

So ebay now want you to refund someone with your balance, even if you were never paid for it. Their logic is that you should pay for someone to have your item.

Who wrote these rules, the lunatic left perhaps?

You couldn't make it up.  If you TRIED to make a system that bad you couldn't do it.

Just think now if your buyer gets automatically refunded from now on. That means if you never got the payment because it was on hold so it thinks you never sent it THAT YOU WILL PAY FOR THE REFUND EVEN THOUGH YOU NEVER RECEIVED THE MONEY.

Wow - what an Einstein-level  thought out system we have here folks! Where you pay to send someone an item instead of them paying you. Gee, what great sense that would make!

You have to witness this to believe it. And now I fear it will automatically refund the buyer at some stage for those other items I sold him......FROM MY MONEY.

(even though I never received the money?)

Bob; here is an apple for you, one pound.

Paul. I will take it, but you can't have the pound, Ebay will hold the pound for me.

Bob; here is your apple.

Ebay; Bob, give Paul his pound back he didn't get the apple.

Bob; I've ate the phucking thing, and he didn't get the pound you brainless clowns.

Re: Ebay has not paid me but wants me to refund the buyer anyway, and thinks I didn't send his items

This isn't the first time I have been screwed by ebay of course. I used to sell handmade toy wands for children. For ten years, then one day ebay said to me, "you can't sell any more, you are not you any more, show me your photographic ID". And I couldn't afford ID. So I didn't sell for a year. Then they lost millions so they let me sell again but it was all over, I lost all the interest in those toy wands as I had hundreds of watchers......then another time they chucked me out of my own account because I logged out but to log back in they wouldn't accept an email or phone confirmation, "give me your photo ID, you are not you any more".......And now this.

By prevailing theory is the boss of ebay is a chimp they keep in a cage, and they throw a dice and whatever number it lands on is the idea they got from teenagers that wrote down ideas on a card.

It's the only theory that can answer for the level of stupidity ebay represents. I can't wait until this issue is somehow resolved so I can leave for etsy. My friend is also doing that, and they will once again lose millions of pounds.
