Ebay asking for verification (again!) VIrgin Money account

Hi i'm asking on behalf of a friend who is relativly new to ebay (25 feedback) 

He has bought items on ebay and just started selling a few items . He had no trouble paying for items,  he set up his bank account with Virgin Money , with no trouble but now is being asked to verify his account again . He has received the micro amounts etc.. he is constantly being asked to re - enter his bank details which he does but to no avail ..and therefore he can't withdraw his ebay funds into his bank account  . We are both not very computer "savvy".  I feel i'm not much help to him , and we are going round in circles ...😫

Sometimes the issue is a simple one.

The name on the bank account has to exactly match the name used when you register on Ebay.

So, if the bank account name is James G. Smith but the account name is Jim Smith, then that would not be accepted.

Get your friend to check that the names are an exact match.

Then. if there are still issues, they need to speak to Ebay Customer Support.

Contacting them in the morning is best as they are more likley to be speaking to an agent in Dublin with more knowledge of UK banks.
