Sold items, booked postage with Royal Mail & attempted to add the Tracking Number but was not able to so. Spent an hour & a half talking to customer services who said it was an IT Issue. Today I got an email from EBAY stating that they have removed the option for sellers to buy postage themselves. From now on Ebay select the service & cost for the buyer. In order to send an item sellers have no choice but to use Ebays postage labels & drop the parcel at a post office or Drop Off Shop. I live in a Rural Location with NO Drop Off Shop & NO POST OFFICE. I relied on Royal Mail who collect parcels FREE of Charge. Ebay having remove the facility to print your own labels has removed the facility of free collection. Ebay seem to be more concerned about charging buyers very unfair fees on Postage. So now Ebay can charge very unfair fees without disclosing to the seller what they have done. I will not be selling on Ebay until I am allowed to purchase my own Postage from whom I choose to purchase it from. I winder do they ever look at the larger picture & consider the implications of their actions ?
