EBay have changed my listing

EBay have changed my listing to their terrible postage system which I was warned about. I’ll change them all back.
However I have had an offer today on a book that I don’t even own. EBay have changed the photograph on the item I have for sale for a completely different book.
has this happened to anyone else. Do I have to go through all of my 650+ listed items and retake photos to match the items I actually have for sale.

With all the listings you have, probably better to upgrade to business seller.

No more SD, you set your own postage.

I assume your listings are on this ID.

Ebay’s wonderful system shows me nothing, I was going to ask which item had the picture changed, as so many things go wrong but never heard of a picture actually being changed.

Changing back is likely to be impossible, unless your items are in an exempt category.

Right at the bottom of this very long explanation of something supposed to be simple, opting out-

EBay have changed my listing

I have a ww2 book( 314195503817 ) listed that had photos of the cover, back and a few internal pages.
yesterday I received interest on it and discovered that eBay had removed my photos and put in a stock photo of a book with a similar name. It’s now been changed back but I’m wondering how many other things have been messed with.

As for the simple postage I won’t use it. I had a problem with it the first time I used it as the wrong weight was entered (my mistake) and eBay made me pay for a second label. They told me I would be refunded for the original one but I never got it.
it also makes it difficult( probably impossible) when buying multiple items.

If you use your own postage and unable to manually change your tracking your payouts will be held  for a minimum of 14 days.

For the postage label  if you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days.

If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

As for combining postage ! 🙄

This has been,  and frustrated many,  a technical issue now for a long time with Simple Delivery and combining postage,  it's just not possible.

If postage was purchased though Simple Delivery and you now post all the items together the buyer will receive a refund for the unused labels they paid for, might be worth sending them a message explaining this,  and that it may take up to / over 30 days for the refund to appear.  You will though,  only have one tracking number for all those items,  and a potential opener for  an item not received case.

The best way forward would be to cancel all items, of course,  with the buyer's acceptance, and relisting them as one, so there's one  important tracking number, one postage price. Ensure any message to your buyer makes it very clear the reason why the items are being cancelled,  that they are to be relisted on eBay again,  for the buyer to buy, leave no room for doubt that this is Not an off eBay sale.

Some sellers are leaving a message on their listing,  for example.....   ' If you wish to buy multiple items,  please let me know before buying,  I will relist them as one listing so only one postage cost is charged, combining postage is not currently possible. '
