EBay cancelled my item for policy violation

Hi,

I put up for sale a brand new portable power station and unbeknown to me,  it had a product recall.  EBay sent me a link to the manufacturers website detailing the issue and all that is required is a firmware update which the owner does so doesn’t require a product return.

Am I able to re-list this item after I’ve carried out the firmware update and how would I go about this,  or would it now be impossible to list.

I don’t want to get in a situation where EBay ban my account by listing it again

I doubt we can say for sure.  Even customer services could give you misleading info.

If you want to risk it put Firmware Update in the title and description.
