Drop in sales. page views down 30% Sales conversion rate up .6% What can I do?

Hi All.

Having severe issues with my sales, doing all the usual stuff, listing regularly, at least 5 most days. Sending and accepting offers. I am a top rated seller.

Presently have another 25% off sale going on.

Where have all the customers gone? anyone else finding the same, or is it just me? Been doing this 15 years and never had such a low and sustained lack of sales. I have 3000 listings and lots of multiple items within them.

Any views or advice will be gratefully received. not really had a coherent or useful answer from ebay

Well ebay seems to have been slowing down for a long while now, and with another unpleasant budget due shortly, many people are already not spending as freely as in the past.

My sales this year  must be the worst  in the 23 years I have been on ebay, I use promotions and make offers when ebay sends potential leads, promotions do not do anything and offers only lead to a sale about 1 in 5

I think you are right on both those points. It is a bad time in particular for motorcycles and parts, many large dealers have closed recently, I thought his may be to my advantage, but shifting stock is hard atm.

Good luck in your sales, but I think this may be the start of the end for me.
