I know Im in the minority at the moment but I quite like the Simple Delivery idea as Ebay is responsible for any items lost or damaged in the post.
But what I am wondering is how do I, as the seller, know whether I shipped it out via Simple Delivery? Is it marked as a Simple Delivery anywhere?
I know its marked on the label as SD but where do I find the original label ? Is it marked anywhere more easily accessed on the order history?
If a buyer contacts me re a lost item etc I need to be able to tell if they need to contact Ebay directly (because it was a SD label) or whether I need to contact the courier shown on the tracking (label purchased via Ebay but not SD) or advise to return damaged item for refund etc.
This is especially important in this transition period where some orders are SD and some not.
Am I missing something/ somewhere obvious?

I think you misunderstand, as I doubt ebay would accept responsibility for loss or damage, at the end of the day, you would end up refunding buyer and claiming from I assume Packlink.

No I havent misunderstood, here are Ebays own explanation of the benefits to seller of Simple delivery. But my initial enquiry still stands as to how do I know if I sent it via Simple Delivery?
