Not used  Ebay for over a year to sell anything.  Sold an item for £20.   Got paid so packed item promptly and took to Post Office - walking distance.  Paid £3.50 cost.   Only when I returned and tried to Update Order Status to Dispatched that I found I had been "Locked" into using Evri - 2 miles away. Then I realised I had been "Pre Charged"  £2.94 for the Evri delivery.  So now out of pocket even more.  I've had to email the buyer to update her as there is No Way to mark the item dispatched unless I go through a fake process of printing Evri label just so that this janky software will mark item as Dispatched.  

Annoyed.

You are using SD,so buyer paid postage, you get link to print label. 

If not used, buyer gets refund within 30 days.

All you can do is message buyer with new tracking info.

You will be paid in 14 days.

If you don't want to use Evri you need to opt out.

More confused.  SD meant nothing - now know = Simple Delivery.  The buyer gets a refund of the Evri Fee ?

I have messaged buyer with Dispatch details.   Paid in 14 days ?   For what ?   I get the sale proceeds in 2 days or am I wrong.   Been using Ebay since 2002 and seems to have got over complicated for non business folk. Thanks for the reply anyway,

The buyer has paid the postage directly to Ebay.

If you look at your payments, yu will see that the postage charged on the item and paid by the buyer did not go through your account.

When the label is not used, the buyer is refunded as they paid the amount to Ebay.

Because your item will not show as received by Evri or delivered to the buyer, your payment might be held by Ebay.

As you have not sold for a time, as said your money may be held for 14 days or more, or released after delivery, but without loaded tracking, this may not help.

Once you have established a selling record again, the funds are released within 24 hours. It is still up to you to withdraw to bank. Automatic payments to bank of any balance in your ebay account are made by ebay on first Tuesday in Jan., Apl., July, Oct.
