Digital voucher

Hi I bought a digital amazon voucher ( like I have done several times in the past) but I didn't recieve a collection  code this time. The seller sent me a postage tracking number. Have tried contacting seller  but after a little dialogue he is keeping silent. Any ideas? Ebayer are saying can't stat a returns thing until its gone past  the due delivery date!.

That sounds like the seller didn’t follow the ebay rules on digital items, which are neither collected nor posted, but provided digitally.  Digital items are not covered by the money back guarantee. 

Have they not provided it digitally?

As they listed with postage you have to wait until the day after expected delivery to open a case for item not received, obviously a return case is only if you have something to return. 

You may need a return case if you get something in the post that is not what you bought, but ebay may decide it's not covered by the money back guarantee.

I tried cancelling at first but then the seller finally got back to me and
I said did I still wanted the voucher. I said yes so He canceled my
cancellation then asked for a collection code which I didn't have. Since
then they've been silent 😞

Was the item listed for collection or postage?

Asking for a collection code when you haven't got the item is the action of a potential scammer, but you only get a collection code if the item was listed for collection.

If it wasn't listed for postage they can't provide a tracking number attached to the sale.

It was listed as no collection or postage needed. But I noticed after I
paid yesterday postage was charged. On ebay it now has given me a
tracking number on InPost.
But when I click on the tracking number it diverts me to inpost and asks
for my postcode!.
The only reason I bought it off the seller was because it wad digital.
I've done it loads of times before and always got the collection code. Like
you I'm not sure if it's a scam but the seller initially got in touch but
silence since

If listing had postage on it, then 1 day after estimated delivery date open item not received case.

If seller cannot prove delivery, they have to refund. 

Escalate to ebay on day 4 if no refund.
