Dhl simple delivery pickup

Hi, I've recently sold a bulky item and the shipping option chosen was dhl simple delivery. I booked a collection date of 14/11/2025 which Dhl agreed. On the day I received an e mail with expected pick up time. However DHL did not show up on that day on. On Monday 17th November I received a further email with an expected pickup time. However it was another no show. The tracking information shows a code of "70 not ready". I've messaged DHL and eBay about this but have not received any response. The buyer is rightly asking what is going on. Can anyone give me some pointers on the best course of action?

Dhl simple delivery pickup

Lots of people are having this problem with DHL.   They are really struggling with the work ebay are putting their way.   

 

One option would be to cancel the transaction with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist for the buyer to buy again and just hope this time the arrangement with DHL works.   

 

Or cancel and relist but this time see if you can opt out of ebay's Simple Delivery delivery system so you can choose a more reliable courier.   If you decide on the latter adapt the advice on here:
