Thank you for the Parcel Monkey link. It gives me Parcelforce and DX.

The only option I get with 'Large Suitcase' on ebay is Royal Mail Parcelforce but the maximum size, 245cm, based on the calculation length + [(height + width) x 2] is too small. Skis size comes to 265cm without any packaging. My local Post Office advised Parcelforce will deliver the skis and gave me a price. It appears I can amend the price of postage on the ebay listing.

If I dispatch the skis directly through my local Post office with tracking how do I tell ebay the skis are dispatched? Can I record the tracking number on ebay so that ebay know when the skis are delivered and hence initiate payment? It is about getting payment once the buyer has the skis if I dispatch and pay postage at my local Post Office.

When buyer has paid, you go item in sold list and click mark as dispatched from drop down list,

Adding tracking number.
