Evri returned item as damaged. It’s a plug so I think that there is nothing wrong with it. I gather someone opened it and realised there was nothing worth stealing. 

If the buyer wants a refund after the delay. Will I be out of pocket for the postage already paid? 

if the buyer wants me to resend, am I also out of pocket?

You need to refund your buyer in full, including postage.

If they want you to re-send it they will need to pay you again for the postage. This will have to be done away from ebay, Paypal or bank transfer.
