Declined item return

Hello,

I ordered an item from a seller who marked it as non-returnable. However, the item arrived only after 8 days, and during that time, I was receiving daily tracking updates saying it would be delivered "today", which never happened. Eventually, I received the item, but by that point, I had already ordered the same device from another seller, so I asked the seller if I could return it. I also opened a return request on eBay under “no longer needed”, but the seller declined it.

I accepted the situation, but when I finally opened the parcel, I was able to find out the item was not as described. The listing clearly stated the material was metal, but in reality, it is plastic.

What should I do next?

I doubt that you can open another case, but as it appears to have arrived late you could have opened NOT AS DESCRIBED for being late.

When seller says no returns accepted, it only covers change of mind, which as it was a change of mind on your part, means it is automatically rejected.

I can only suggest selling on yourself, which if you have never sold on ebay, means updating your account to sell.
