Ebay does not support buyers when they receive dead plants.
Because of this I will be closing my account when I receive my two remaining items I have ordered.

You can open a return and send the plants back for a full refund using the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.

You have 30 days to open a return when an item is not fit for purpose.
You did say you received a dead plant so I assumed it was dead when you received it.
I think most people would be able to tell within a week or so if a plant was going to thrive or was never viable.
If you bought a plant from a garden centre, would you have a month to return it if it became sickly?

That plant in the photo isn't dead, just bent over, surely it just required a support.
You had 30 days in which to open an eBay return.

The seller failed to support the plant hence why it arrived bent over.
Also, because the compost was very wet when it arrived, I think it was over
watered.
I put it in shaded area and supported it but died. My mistake was not
taking a photograph of the dead plant.
Lots of plants have their support removed to enable them to be posted out at a reasonable price. I do agree that over watering can be a problem though, I've had to remove the compost from around the roots of some supermarket plants and repot them in dry compost to prevent them from potentially dying.
However, it's vital to open an eBay return within their given timeframe. 30 days should be plenty of time to diagnose the state of a plant.
