Damaged

Hi I’ve purchased a Pick Up canopy from a dismantlers business. It was advertised as a grade A in very good condition from the photos on eBay. It has been delivered damaged with a big scuff on it and some scratches. Fairly dirty like it’s been stored in a farm barn. It has bits broken and missing which affects the opening of the rear hatch. Not sure what can be done or where to go with the seller as they are advising that it was damaged in transit. What to do next?

Presumably you paid through ebay checkout?

 

Open an ebay return citing damaged or not as described. Your seller will get 3 working days to arrange tracked collection, and will then refund. If they don't you escalate to ebay. You can escalate your case after 3 full days if they haven't resolved.
