Someone at Ebay when I rang through before you have stopped all incoming calls. It was to do with a fraudulent activity when someone sold me an item for £10 and never sent the goods and then blocked me. I rang through and spoke to someone who gave me the £10 back in credit.
I know there wa a time limit on it, but the amount of times I've tried to find it and failed just made me buy items for Christmas out of my own £ and try to look for it later. With other companies, if there is a credit, it reminds you as you go to pay for an item, but this credit did not. But I recall her saying that I had to go into My Account which I did and still couldn't find it.
When I tried to ring through again, you have stopped all incoming calls and therefore it takes me, as a customer, much longer to get through to someone who is a human who I can talk to and explain, cos your new system does not cover every aspect of everybody's confusion. I spent over 30 minutes yesterday trying to find a way to contact someone.
I'm an old age pensioner now and can't always access these consistent digital alterations that take longer for customers to understand and then wait for a response. Plus, I don't want to be having to turn on my laptop daily to check my emails, just in case. Emails, texts, messenger etc. etc. it was so much easier to have only 2 ways of communication.
I've been with Ebay for over 30 years, and stayed with you partly for the reason that there was easy access to a human to make any problems I had, be dealt with quicker. Even writing this mail to you is taking more time from me than picking up the phone and talking to someone. Everything is being dragged out more and more, it may be convenient for you, but it is not always for the customer.
Can you please get back to me asap regarding this matter.
