Hi, I have a heavy "collection in person only" item but have received a message asking if they can arrange and pay for a courier or for me to take it to parcelshop which I definitely will not be doing. The reason I have collection only is cos from personal experience i have seen how parcels are handled in depots. I think I have answered my own question about what should I reply? If it gets damaged am I responsible?

I think I have answered my own question about what should I reply?
Yes, you have. Just say no.
If it gets damaged am I responsible?
Yes, you would be.

I told them collection only then they asked if I could deliver it (no I can't) now they are asking for my postcode but not purchased item. I'm thinking about ending the item as I don't trust this potential buyer. I can't see why they would want my postcode other than to arrange courier collection? They have already told me they live too far away to collect. I've had two people asking me about postage/courier which is highly likely the same person? What would you do?

Block them here: Blocked Bidders
They won't be able to bid on any of your items.
And block anyone else who acts suspect.

I was thinking of blocking them but then they could open another account and bid but yes I will block as I'm sure they will be a pain if they buy it. Thank you.

They could, which is why I suggested blocking anyone else you don't trust.
If you suspect anyone opening a new account to get round your blocks contact ebay and ask them to check and see if they are the same person. They may not answer you but they will deal with the account holder.
