Counterfeit policy flagged

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I’m having on eBay.

A while back, a couple of my listings were removed because they were flagged under the counterfeit items policy. I followed what I thought was the right step: I completely deleted those old listings, then created brand-new, fresh listings for the same items as I knew they was not counterfeit. Those new listings went live without any problem, and one of them has already sold and been completed successfully.

However, every time I log into eBay now, I keep seeing a notification saying I have an open issue that I need to resolve. The problem is, the original listings are already gone, and the new one has already sold — there’s nothing left for me to action or edit.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this notification / clear this open issue from my account? It’s worrying me that it looks like I still have an unresolved problem, even though the old listings are deleted and the new sale is done.

thanks

Not sure there is anything you can do from your end,  you'll need Customer Services who have access to your account, and can process any action needed.

I strongly advise speaking to a  ' live agent'  and not a bot about this, and I admit,  it's not easy!

Some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.

Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
