Contact with Seller

I bought an item on Thursday and the seller asked when would I like to collect it?

I said Saturday or Sunday.

They replied and asked if Saturday 12.30pm would be okay.

I agreed and they said they would send me the address first thing Saturday morning. At 11.40, they hadn't been in touch so I messaged to check it was still okay to collect at 12.30pm.

They didn't reply so I left it for a few hours.

I contacted them again later but still no reply.

I can see that the money has been paid out from my bank though. What do I need to do next?

The seller won't get your money without the collection code.

I would give them a day and then message again.

Even though it is a collection item, after 7 days, you can open an 'item not received' case so you are still protected by the Money Back Guarantee.

Actually the seller will still get paid without the collection code but you can get a refund using a claim for item not received if necessary.
