Collection item shipped after payment

I had a sale recently where the buyer paid for an item and requested shipping afterwards. I agreed and shipped with a tracked service. They have confirmed delivery but have not provided the collection code to me to release payment, despite asking. All messages through eBay to confirm this. How can I release payment for the item?

Your payment will now be held for a minimum of 14 days.

You cannot add new tracking now,  but,  if the buyer opens  a case for item not received, you can add those tracking numbers into the case.

Thank you. So if there is no action from buyer or seller then the payment will be processed after 14 days either way? Is that correct? If the buyer raises a case I can share tracking to prove delivery.

There is nothing either of you can do to speed up the payment being released to you.

As a new seller money could be held for longer than @4 days.

There is no official way to convert a collection item to a posted item, your tracking proves delivery if needed, and the code originally supplied to buyer would not work.

The only way to deal with requests to post a collection item, is to cancel  sale and relist with postage for buyer to buy again. In other words a right pain.
