Why is it so bloody difficult to get a collection code? There's no way you can get a satisfactory response from eBay. Automated contact is useless and you can't speak to anyone

First check your order details,  emails and especially Spam it may have found its way there.

If not,   you do have to contact eBay Customer Services for the code.  Try very first thing when the lines first open 8 a.m. on weekdays / 9 a.m. on weekends , there's more chance of Dublin answering,  if you call before opening hours CS is open,  but it's and automated assistant.

Be aware you have 7 days to collect your item,  after being notified it's in store.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

 As said I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I've not had a collection code sent to me and this is the last day for
collection
