Hello all,
I purchased an item using the click and collect service. The item has been delivered to my collection point, but the shop keeper will not give me the item because I have not been given a bar code for him to scan.
The seller will not support in any way, and the courier is not supporting.
I cannot return the item because I don't have it, and I can't cancel the order because it has already been shipped. There are no other options on this lovely automated system to help with my problem.
Does anyone know who I can contact to try and get my money back? The seller and courier aren't interested and see themselves as not responsible, and ebay don't have any options available on or around this order.

You need to get the code from ebay by using the chat bot or call back system.

Hello, Thank you for the info. One problem is that on the ebay system it does not show as delivered, even though the courier delivered it last Friday. The courier tracking shows delivered and with a photo. I've have been to the store and have seen the item. I just can't take it. Ebay won't issue a code because it only shows as sent, and not delivered. Crazy... Neither the seller, courier or collection point will support.

Hi, I managed to get to speak to an agent through the call back option you recommended. We eventually found that the collection point owner did not scan the item into his store when it was delivered. Therefore it would not generate the collection code for me. It sounds like this is happening a lot. Maybe they hope the item will get abandoned and they will keep it.
