It's still there on some items, it's a seller's choice whether to offer that option or not.
Perhaps less and less sellers are offering this as so many issues arise, buyers not collecting on time, then getting angry at the seller.
Also, many stores do not offer this option now, as fury was spent on staff who either couldn't locate an item, or as said buyer has come too late and it is the store's right then to dispose of it as they deem fit.
