Changing to be a business seller, I am a private seller should I change to business

I feel that I should, ive been on ebay since 2003, previously ive been selling antique type items and the residue of a small business that had been shut down. If i change I would like to carry on the good name etc ie time in ebay etc and would hope that would transfer, I already started a new project and it amounts to upcycling items etc and would like to carry it on as a business. Because of recent alterations to the private seller accounts it becomes more important than ever that I retain continueity in the project specifically in pricing, this cannot be achieved under the 'private' banner. For example if I sell at the moment on Etsy at £11.99 inc. carriage I need to do the same on Ebay I can not because of the number of items involved mess with the price and the margins etc which in my view is counter produtive in several ways, but I do want to settle on one platform and not use several at the same time. I have already sorted name and logo etc email and so-on, can the switch over be done easily taking this into concideration? Cheers Nick

When you change to a business account your name, feedback etc will remain, you can change the name of your account to your new business easily

You will need to work out when adding a shop becomes viable as each listing costs 30p+VAT and a basic shop starts at £27 +VAT

All business fees are here https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/store-selling-fees?id=4809
