Changing postage charges on listing

I have listed some jewellery which I would like to send via Royal Mail Special Guarantee at a cost of £8.15 but the new postage system does not give that option as a buyer or seller cost. It has calculated the value as £3.44. Does anyone know how this can be resolved as I do not want the postage label to print with the wrong information.

When you use Simple Delivery you are protected if the item is lost/damaged from the point the item is scanned into the carrier's delivery network and until it's marked as delivered.   That means ebay will pay the refund, not you, when the buyer opens a claim.     So in theory you don't need extra cover.   If you still want to use different postage you may be able to opt of SD and use custom postage.
