Changing a tracking number

Hi. I am quite new to selling and worried I’ve made a boo boo! 
I sold a £300 item and the buyer paid straight away, I downloaded the label but saw they had only selected standard postage which would not cover the value of the item, I asked if they were happy for me to send it the way they’d selected but then the asked if I’d send special delivery and they’d pay the extra. Neither of us knew how to change the postage. So I posted it and it has been delivered all I have proof of, but I have no way of updating my sale so it looks like I haven’t  sent it! Any ideas what I can do of have I made a big maff up? Thank you in advance

See if you can change the tracking number at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.   If not generate the original prepaid Simple Delivery label and try again.

FYI, Simple Delivery covers sellers for up to £750.   In case of loss or damage in transit ebay refund the buyer and the seller keeps the payment.
