Changes to Ebay Postage labels Complicated Cancellation process

Before the new Ebay systems, if I accidentally got the postage amount wrong, I could cancel the label get a refund . Buy a new label at the correct postage

Why I can't I do this now. Why do I have to cancel the order and start again - relisting

This system means that I am being punished for making a mistake and very likely the buyer wouldn't buy again

Despite the name Simple Delivery is more complicated.    The alternative to cancelling is to buy and pay for the correct postage yourself.    To add that tracking number you still need to generate the original prepaid label.   Then change the tracking via the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That needs to be done on a desktop browser. 

Then if you paid for the original label you can cancel it here:

If the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.
