Change of postage from Collection to Post

Hi ,

I have a recent order that was marked as Collection only - I subsequently agreed with the buyer to post it instead. The item has been paid for and positive feedback received but I can't see any way of updated the order to show as despatched . It's still sitting showing ' awaiting despatch'

Any ideas anyone ?

The order is awaiting a collection 6 digit code to be entered .  The buyer would have received this code either in their email,  eBay messages or in their order detail for the item, a look into Spam perhaps.  Ask them to send you this code explaining it can release your payout sooner.

The numbers can then be entered manually on the order details beside ... Confirm Collection.

If this is not possible,  your payout will be held for a minimum of 14 days before release.

Ebay's systems are not capable of dealing with a posted collection item or a collection of an item listed for postage, when there was only the one option on the listing.

The usual advice is to cancel the sale and relist with the appropriate option.
