Change email address

Hi all,

I have two E-Bay accounts. My main E-bay account that I use is associated with my Primary E-mail Address and the second account is associated to my Gmail Address.

I would like to use my Gmail address as my main E-bay account as I will be loosing my primary E-mail Address within the next 30 days

When I try to change my primary E-mail address to my Gmail address, I get an error message that my Gmail address is already taken and please provide a different email address.

I do not have another Email address Can you please help.

You won't be able to use the Gmail account for your first ebay ID if it's taken by your second ID.    But you can start a new Gmail account and use that.    You will need to log out and clear cookies first, or use a different browser.

Can I close the second ID account as I have never used that and then use that Gmail address for my first ID account?

No.   Once an email address has been used on ebay it will always say that.   It's easy to start a new email address.  Just sign up for a new one.
