Cash on collection

I have received cash on collection on an item, exactly the same as I did a couple of months ago. I can't now see how I confirm the sale.

You cannot as cash on collection is no longer an accepted form of payment, except for Vehicles.

That doesn't really help because we have already accepted the cash when the item was collected.

I now understand the new rules so it won't happen in the future, I just need to sort this sale.

You can't. Because eBay's system no longer recognises cash sales there is no way to record the buyer's payment. As far as eBay is concerned, it's unpaid.

eBay may continue sending the buyer payment reminders, which they can ignore. Provided you don't open an unpaid item case against the buyer - which you obviously won't - the traction will eventually time out and things will return to normal.
