Cash on collection

Hi just sold a lot by auction, the buyer is local and wants to collect in person and pay cash on collection.
Is this okay? 

Buyer says that to pay through eBay he must pay the delivery charge.

It is not ok.

Ebay no longer allow cash on collection.

If the buyer pays postage and it is not used, they will be able to get a refund.

One point is that there is no provision to mark as paid now as all payments go through the ebay system and automatically get marked as paid.

Only vehicle sales can still be paid in cash as any other method is open to scams, as there is no money back guarantee on vehicles.

Cancel this transaction and relist as collection,the buyer will be refunded and when they repay get a code to give you and release your payment quicker
