Car part under warranty, seller won't respond...

Ordered a pair of "Gearzaar" air struts from DK Power for my Mercedes in February , had them fitted and now one has failed after 3 months. Advertised by seller "with 5 year warranty" but after receiving requested order no. will not respond to messages.

You are out of time to do anything through Ebay.

If you bought from a UK business seller you need to keep contacting them.

If you have a phone number, ring them, and write to them at their business address reminding them of the warranty and explaining what you expect them to do next.

The problem with warranties on items bought on line is that there is no simple way to enforce the warranty.

I must admit that I would not normally buy safety-critical items on line. Apart from anything else they may be "fake".

You have a few options.  Contact your payment provider and see if - as it's only three months - they will do a chargeback.   Contact Trading Standards for the area in which the seller trades.  Contact the brand holder to see if they would lean on the seller [probably unlikely].
