Cancelling purchases

What's the point of an eBay auction site, selling items and then a buyer is simply allowed to cancel the purchase? Reason, item being too far to collect when it clearly states in the description collection only!!

You're not a business seller, so your buyers are not "allowed" to cancel purchases.

You don't have to accept unreasonable cancelaltion requests - you can simply leave it for four days and if the buyer hasn't paid cancel the sale for non-payment, see: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/payment-policies/unpaid-item-policy?id=4271

This will immediately cancel the sale. The buyer will receive an unpaid item strike for not paying, which will stay on their account for a year. Two strikes mean that most sellers will automatically block them from bidding.

To add non-payers to your blocked bidders list and prevent them from sending you messages, see: https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
