Cancelling an order after winning bid

The seller has confirmed that they did not correctly state the colour of an item.  They now wish to relist and have  asked me to cancel which I have agreed as I no longer want the item. eBay is telling me it's too late what can I do?

Your seller can still cancel the order, ask them to do it.
