Cancelled orders

So because the buyer can’t read properly, and has now asked for a refund because he didn’t read the listing properly, why is it costing me the seller money to allow the buyer to cancel?

You are the one at fault.

You are not allowed to list to view item.

Buyer is entitled to get receive all items on listing for sold price.

Re: Cancelled orders

How is it costing you money?  Private seller listing for free, breaking all the rules in the book, and if buyer made a fuss you would have a problem explaining your terms and conditions to ebay, which are not allowed, and in effect trying to do an Off Ebay sale.

Re: Cancelled orders

How come it didn’t get taken down (the listing) if i wasn’t following your policy I’m not arguing because what you have told is seem correct but why allow it to happen you’ll find no one actually reads the terms
That’s cool I’ll refund

You have relisted the item but you need to change your description.

Anybody seeing your listing would expect to pay £5.45 for the job lot of tools.

You can't charge a potential buyer £5.45 to come and have a look.

If you are happy to sell the lot for £5.45, that is fine, otherwise, you should list it with a realistic price you are happy to accept.

A buyer would have to pay for the listing through Ebay before you could exchange details for collection.
