When I sell an item I'll always message the buyer to say 'thank you for your order, I'll dispatch it tomorrow, etc.'
Quite a few times I've looked back at that message later in 'Messages' and there's a thing underneath saying: "Your buyer has reached out about their order. Since you used Simple Delivery, we'll work with your buyer directly on any delivery related questions."
I'd really like to see that reply though. I'm certain that certain particular messages won't have been about delivery and may well need a courteous response from me.
Is there a way I can see them? Or does ebay have AI looking for keywords to do with delivery and diverting them over to their own teams?

This message in my humble opinion is one of the most baffling and totally unnecessary because it just appears whenever either seller or buyer message each other. It holds no necessary, relevant information!
If you are not receiving a reply from the buyer, this means they do not wish to reply, to be honest most will not , as eBay do message them to say item has been posted.
Anyone replying you will still receive a message showing to be read, in Messages.

I would never send messages thanking the buyer for their order and letting them know it's dispatched because they can see when their item has been dispatched and not everybody wants loads of messages.
If you send an item via Simple Delivery this is the message you'll see, I believe that they'll still see your message, nobody knows for sure at the moment.
