Can't login to app - network error message

When I try and login to app using my successful desktop user/email and pw it just returns to login screen with 

error message "There was a network error".
AS suggested I have tried the following to no avail:-
1. Uninstalled and reinstalled app.

2. Reset phone

3. Reset password

4. Used email and user name

5. Cleared cache and data
Criteria work well on my desktop. Phone is Android 15. No other app network problems.

Any suggestions? Tried all that ebay agent came up with.

Others are still experiencing issues with the app and a Community Manager posted this yesterday....

 Try deleting recent cache and data > settings on phone> apps> storage> clear data/clear cache.

Check to see your are updated to the latest app version.

The latest version for android is 6.249.2.1 ( requires android 12 or later)

The latest version for ios is 6.250.0 ( requires ios 18 or later)
