Can someone please help me

I bought a pair of jeans that were incorrectly described. I requested a return but the seller is disputing that his description was incorrect and that he will accept a return but will not pay for a return label.

I used the auto help box which informed me I would have to wait until 22nd to ask eBay to step in and resolve the issue.

However now I cannot get any further than the RETURN DETAILS as it says to answer the seller's message. I have answered several emails from the seller but asked him to stop sending me emails because the issue could not be resolved between us and he bombarded me with the same emails and I felt bullied.

Now I have tried for most of this morning to find a way to get eBay to step in but find it very frustrating as I follow the instructions but it takes me back to having to answer the sellers umpteenth email and I don't want to contact him again.

Can someone please tell me how I proceed with my return and get eBay to step in. Please do not direct me to the eBay's help boxes because they just say for me to reply to the seller but I'm done with that as he has bullied me.

Thank you

Kat

Can someone please tell me how I proceed with my return

It would have helped to tell us exactly which procedure you followed, but it sounds as though you opened a return request and not a case under eBay's money back guarantee (which is what you should have done).

The seller would not have been able to refuse a money back guarantee case. If they hadn't agreed to the return after four days the option would have appeared to escalate the case for eBay to step in. They would have enforced the refund and if the seller wanted the item back they would have had to pay for and send you a prepaid return label.

If you only opened a return request, what was the seller's returns policy in the listing? If it stated that they accept returns, and they have refused to do so, you can contact eBay customer support to upgrade the return request to a money back guarantee case.

Otherwise, if all you sent was a return request the seller doesn't have to accept it and can require you to pay the return postage if they do.

Failing the above, you may have other ways to claim a refund. If you paid by PayPal you have 30 days from the date of payment to use their buyer protection policy - but any action being taken through eBay MUST be closed first. Or if you paid by credit or debit card your card issuer may be able to help.

One critical bit of info we need have you opened a case and if so what type? Do not close it until you have come back here for further help as you only get one chance.

was the item you received different to the description or is it you don’t like the item or it doesn’t fit say?
