I’ve purchased a motorcycle seat from a seller in India who after 8 days has not shipped the item yet as the global server is down has anyone else had this problem recently.

On your order details there's an estimated delivery date.
Once the latest estimated delivery date has passed you can open an eBay item not received claim.

Thanks but I was wanting the item which is why I am curious if anyone else has had the same issue the seller says he has over 150 items backed up to be posted.regards.

I've no idea what 'global server' he may be referring to.
I guess it may be a domestic issue there.

He is claiming nobody from eBay is helping with the issue

Can get eBay help?
What is the issue, what is the 'global server'?

I’ve messaged the automated assistant but didn’t get much sense out of it.

It won't understand what you're asking it. If it did, it would just advise you to open an eBay item not received claim if your item doesn't arrive by the latest estimated delivery date.

I guessed that thanks how do you contact a human to talk to is it still possible

It's pointless contacting eBay about this, all they can advise is to open an eBay item not received claim once the estimated delivery date has passed.

Ok many thanks for your help.

You're very welcome, but just out of curiosity what is the latest delivery date showing on that order?

October 27th

If it goes past that delivery date make sure that you open an eBay item not received claim within 30 days.
Your seller then has 3 business days to add a tracking number showing delivery, after which you can escalate it to ask eBay to step in and issue your refund.

Cheers for that.
