Buyers protection. New to this, but why do buyers not see this added amount when they make an offer!

New to this, so my apologies if old. 

Why is buyers protection not visible or added to buyers when they make offers on my items? I am losing sales because of it I am sure!!

Personally,  I doubt this is the reason for loss of sales,  many are reporting low sales  now and before BPF came in.

The breakdown is shown at eBay checkout after the buyer pays you.

They're still tweaking this that and the other with Special Delivery and BPF,  so perhaps they will introduce the breakdown on actual listings,  before payment,  who knows ! 🤔

When buyers make offers those offers include the BPF, so the offer is for the total they will pay.
