Buyers postage cost refunded automatically against seller

hi

just an heads up to  sellers.

my regular  seller had my postage cost refunded to me from his account because he was unable to use ebay's new postage options,    so he bought a stamp and posted  at his local post office.

this option seems not to be allowed any more ??

anyway i will get his money back to him one way or another, its not much,  but if other sellers have the same problem. its another nail in the coffin of sellers.

Under SD, buyer pays for postage, seller gets link to print label.

If label is not used, buyer gers the refund,as they paid for it.

wow.  that's bad for sellers... some buyers will just put the money in their back pocket and say thank you ebay for the free postage.   

my seller had problems buying the postage off ebay so he bought a stamp.

as someone who's buys on ebay regularly,  I do not want the money back. it belongs to the seller. and this seller is one of my regulars ..... for years. 

crazy all round.  I'm sure it will happen to a lot of sellers.   thanks for the explanation.
