For context I sell pokemon cards, a member has brought two cards which is great. The issue I have is that the member has 0 feedback and has only been a member of ebay for a month.
Because of the well known pokemon card scams I dont wish to proceed with the sale.
What are my options?

Don't take this the wrong way, but how would you feel, joining eBay to look for and buy 2 cards for your collection, only to be rebuked because you were new with no purchase history / feedback ?
We were all newbies, 0 feedback showing, and some maybe only joining to buy that one, wanted / needed item.
They have bought the items, have they paid? Then you should honour the sale, and post only to the name and address provided by eBay on the delivery order details.
Could they switch it later for another card claiming item not as described. Yes. However, so could any member, new or ' old'.
I have just looked at your sold items, the highest value is just over £5, if someone was going to scam you they would do so with a far higher value card.
They're new, buying low value items, adding to their P card collection , post after payment , you may even gain a good, repeat buyer!

If you cancel without agreement of buyer you will get a damaging defect on your selling account.
We all started with 0 and in fact you yourself only joined recently and only have one feedback for selling. While it pays to be cautious, you are either on ebay to sell or not. Selling on ebay always has risks, particularly when selling risky items, but scams can happen selling anything.
So basically it is up you, but as said cancelling without agreement, will give you a defect and with only one fb a 100% defect rate will not help with selling, as ebay expect no more than a 2% rate.

I completely understand the points raised which is why I reached out. I have packaged and sent the cards, while taking some precautions. They purchased 2 cards totalling £8.50. But this wasnt about the money, although no one wants to throw away any amount of money. Thank you for your responses.
