Buyer wants to return item that he wasnt sure would fit - now says not working

Hi all, I've had this before where a buyer asks a load of questions about an item, isn't sure its the right one and after being told he's buying at own risk and I have a no returns policy on such items now has started a return stating "not working" which I know it was.

Im fully expecting to get it back and it works, which it did when I sent!

However, ebay give me no option to dispute, only to accept or partial refund which buyer isn't going to agree to anyway.

So i have little option but to ignore the return until the buyer asks ebay to step in.

If you ignore the return until eBay steps in you will receive an account defect for failing to resolve the problem with the buyer.

eBay decides cases without ever seeing the item concerned. If the buyer says it's not working eBay will accept their word for this. To avoid a defect you need to accept the return and send the buyer a prepaid return label. On tracking proof of return eBay will refund the buyer and charge this to your account.

You can report the buyer for abuse po the money back guarantee f that's wht you think they're doing. If other sellers do the same it's possible that eBay may act to restrict this buyer's future use of the MBG.
