Hi , just wondering if anyone could advise. My buyer says the gilet I sold has a tear on it asking for a return.
I'm sure there was not any damage on it. I've been buying-selling on Ebay for 15 years.
Never had any issue with buyers before. He sent me a pic of the tear.
I checked the item thoroughly.
Is there any way I can proof the item was not faulty?

There is no way to prove the item was not faulty, there is also no way to prove the item you sent is the one in the listing.
It's your word against their's and ebay will support the buyer.
