Buyer request refund, item not returned

So I sold an item late August, with a request for a refund on the last day of the return window, of which I offered a discount (subsequently rejected) so reluctantly offered a refund on the 6th October, giving a returns label.

The item had been marked as shipped by the buyer but they has stated it hasn't actually been shipped (on the 6th October), they're asking for details to send parcel, bare in mind I already sent a prepaid tracked returns label for this as soon as I had to essentially accept the refund.

Do I have any grounds to cancel/refuse a refund given the time frame that has passed?.

Buyer request refund, item not returned

It is well outside the 30 days that ebay allows, so yes you will not be forced to refund at this time.

It does not prevent buyer contacting payment provider, who could start a chargeback.  If they paid by paypal, then paypal have a 30 day limit like ebay.
