I sent a small item by letter post with custom postage (no tracking, only proof of posting).
A not received case was opened, but later the buyer confirmed that she had received it.
I have requested she close the case, but as yet this hasn't happened.
As this is now the 4th day, I wondered what Ebay's process is? Do they automatically refund now, as there was no tracking provided or does a case usually remain open for 30 days or until it is escalated by a buyer ?

If the buyer does not escalate the case, the case will just close through in activity.
eBay will not action a refund unless the buyer is dishonest here, and escalates the case.
