Buyer cancels

Hi, would someone be able to help me please? During the week someone bought a large item from me which was due to be collected today (Sunday). However, late last night (Saturday) the buyer cancelled and said they can no longer collect the item. There a few options that I can accept and re-list or decline. What happens if I decline I haven’t sent the item in the post but obviously I have got the heavy item out of the shed, cleaned / charged it etc. Thanks for your help

If you decline, they still won't come and collect it as they don't want it.

Then, they will be able to open an 'item not received' case (even for a collection item).

So, the best solution all round is for you to accept their cancellation, refund them and relist the item.
