Buyer cancelled

So one of my items completed and the buyer who won cancelled the order.

apparently it was a mistake when the entered the amount. Which was £2 over the previous

Does email notify everyone in the bid chain?

it seems crazy that I have to relist again for another week.

surely when this happens instead of having to relist the next person in the bid list wins.

Buyer cancelled

You can make a Second Chance Offer to under bidder.

Only if the bid was withdrawn before end of auction would they win.

Buyer cannot cancel the sale only you can do that. Refusing to cancel would make more trouble for you than cancelling. Bidder could pay let you waste money on postage then open a Not As Described case to get a full refund.

You would find it virtually impossible not to refund in full, so work out how much it would cost you for return postage as well as original postage.

If the item has cancelled, then using a PC (not the ebay app) click on the more actions option, to see if the 2nd chance offer option shows,so that you can use it to send/sell to the next highest bidder.

If it doesnt show then you may have to instigate a non payment case
