Buyer Refunded, Seller Didn’t Receive Item Back

Hello,
The buyer requested a return, and I approved it. However, I never received the item back from the buyer. Despite this, eBay refunded the buyer, and now I am left without both the item and the money.
Could you please review this case? I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

Did you send  a return label through the case details?

 

We have no access to your account , so cannot see the details of this case maybe eBay made a discretionary refund?

 

You'll need to contact eBay Customer Services who have access to your account and they can explain what happened here.

We are just other members like you.

We can't look at the case or review the decision and, unless the refund was made within the last 30 days, you are too late to appeal.

 

Generally, you are not expected to refund until tracking shows that the item has been returned and received by you but it looks as if maybe Ebay stepped in here and refunded the buyer.

We are missing some key details to advise you.

What was the reason for the return?

Did you supply a label for the buyer?

 

You can still contact the buyer and ask them to return the item.
